Meet House Cafe is Bukit Indah’s ultimate hidden gem, literally tucked away on the second floor above a Petron station. Expect a quirky, mish-mash interior with well-spaced tables perfect for long catch-ups. The massive draw here is their crispy six-flavor fried chicken and high-quality small cakes made with real dairy. It’s an unconventional spot, but the generous portions and cozy vibe make it a must-visit for cafe-hoppers.

The Insider Review

Meet House Cafe hides in plain sight on the first floor above a Petron station in Bukit Indah. You have to walk up a flight of stairs to find it, but the payoff is a spacious, air-conditioned retreat. The decor is a quirky mish-mash of styles, offering well-spaced tables that make the space highly conducive for long, comfortable conversations away from the typical mall crowds.

The undisputed crowd favorite here is the fried chicken. Diners consistently praise the crispy outer batter and tender meat, specifically highlighting the six-flavor fried chicken platter (六宫格炸鸡) and the garlic fried chicken. Others rave about the Korean fried chicken ramen. While a minority found the broader food menu average, the overwhelming consensus points to the fried chicken as a mandatory order.

Leave room for dessert. The cafe makes a serious mark with its diverse selection of small cakes, including a highly raved $1 strawberry cake and customizable Naked Cakes. Crucially, they use premium dairy whipping cream instead of the cheap non-dairy alternatives common in standard JB cafes. Wash it down with their coffee, served in massive, generous mugs. While milk ratios in drinks like the flat white might lean heavy for some coffee purists, the overall beverage quality and friendly customer service earn high marks across the board.

Plan your visit around their slightly staggered schedule. The cafe operates from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM from Monday to Thursday, and opens a half-hour earlier at 10:30 AM to 10:00 PM from Friday through Sunday. If you want high-quality cafe fare without the usual street-level foot traffic, this upstairs hideout delivers.
